OLEX is a powerful tool for navigation, fishing and survey use. OLEX software runs on a dedicated processor unit built on UNIX technology. OLEX is able to interface to any NMEA single beam sounder, SIMRAD ES60/70 and multibeam systems, Kongsberg, and WASSP multibeam. The system will accept any NMEA sentence from GPS, Radar, AIS, Sounder, GPS, Motion sensor, Satellite Compass, Doppler Log, Sonar, etc.
OLEX can use S63 Navionics charts, CMAP CM93-3 Charts, or BSB RASTER charts.
Software options include:
2D only version
2D / 3D Display modes, Dual 2D mode, watercolumn targets (from MBES or WASSP only), Fish targets from WASSP shown in both 2D & 3D
AIS display of targets and depth/message transfer to other vessels
Hardness mapping from either NMEA or TCP/IP sources. (*Sounder must output hardness: Hondex, JRC, Roxanne, Simrad, WASSP etc)
Trawl monitoring in 3D in realtime from appropriate systems (SIMRAD ITI, ETC)
Water current Mapping from NMEA water sensor, doppler log, current indicator
HGPS - height based gps mapping to smooth seafloor data from single beam sounders
TRIPOS - vessel motion correction via satellite
WASSP Interface (for use with WMB160/80 & X230 systems)
MBES for interface to Simrad/Kongsberg Multibeam systems (Simrad EM300 etc)
ATEC for connection with OLEX own IHO multibeam sonar head
SUBSONUS trawl monitoring devices
OLEX has no ongoing upgrade fees, upgrade costs (HDD failures excepted), or maintenance costs. Pay for the software ONCE and use it for life!
Multibeam Sonar - ATEC
OLEX have released their own new multibeam sonar. ATEC is a 320-480Khz multibeam sonar head to be used directly with OLEX software. ATEC offers 256 beams, 80Khz bandwidth, 50HZ Ping rate, 10mm depth accuracy usable from 2-250Mtr. When used with Kongsberg MRU and 9205 GPS the systems exceeds IHO Special Order 44. Can be used with existing motion sensing such as JLR21, SC30, SC50/60 etc.

OLEX WASSP HARDNESS
